「好き」は理性ではなくエモーショナルな部分に依存する。だからたいていの場合、本当に「好きなこと」「好きなモノ」「好きな人」に関して、わたしたちは他人に説明できない。なぜ好きなの？どう好きなの？と聞かれても、うまく答えられないのだ。「好き」が脳の深部から涌いてくるもので、その説明を担当するのは理性なので、そこに本来的なギャップが生まれるからだが、逆に他人にわかりやすく説明できるような「好き」は、案外どうでもいい場合が多い。
