震災のとき、「自分が失ったもの」を数え上げ、それを「返せ」と言い立てる人たちと、「自分にまだ残っているもの」を数え上げ、それをどれくらい有効利用できるかを考えた人に被災者たちはわかれた。
危機を生き延び、すみやかにそのダメージから回復することができたのはもちろん後者である。
危機のときに「失ったもののリスト」を作る人間には残念ながら未来はない。
